Driving Client Growth and Winning New Business

Dave Nobs is an award-winning marketing communications executive with expertise in client
growth, business development and agency marketing. He has managed and held senior executive
positions at some of the world’s largest multinational firms, leading boutique agencies and ran his
own consultancy.

As chief growth officer for LAVIDGE, an integrated advertising, digital marketing, and public
relations agency, he was responsible for overall revenue growth since 2010. Previously, Nobs was
managing director of Ruder Finn and executive vice president/general manager of both Weber
Shandwick and Rogers & Cowan, where he was responsible for the growth and management of each
agency’s worldwide consumer, sports, and entertainment marketing practices. He’s also held senior
management posts at Cohn & Wolfe (now Burson), Earle Palmer Brown and Cone Communications.

Throughout his career, Nobs has directed a number of award-winning, high-profile campaigns, new
product launches, and sponsorships for a variety of clients such as Bank of America, Coca-Cola,
Heineken, Microsoft, Reebok, Rolex, Sprint, Timberland, Turner Broadcasting, Vans as well as the
NFL, NHL, NASCAR, PGA of America and LPGA.

Dave is also an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite
School of Journalism and Communication. He has served on the Board of Directors for several
organizations, both past and present, including the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass
Communication Endowment Board of Trustees, NASCAR Accelerators, Arizona State University’s
Sports Business Association, Arizona Sports & Entertainment Commission, Paralysis Project of
America, and Giving Back Fund.

Dave is a graduate of Westminster College in Pennsylvania and a Distinguished Alumni Award
recipient. He graduated from Brentwood High School in Pittsburgh and was inducted into the
school’s Hall of Fame in 2012.
