Hank Wilson prides himself on being a polymath with his business expertise anchored in building new business units that drive revenue and complement existing business models. Most recently, Hank is focused on helping his clients build AI solutions to augment the effectiveness of their organizations.
After successfully completing his military service as US Army officer after graduating from West Point, Hank was a pioneering member of American Express’ Graduate Management Development program where he was grounded in leadership within a matrix organization, marketing, and business operations. After graduating from AmEx’s GMD program, Hank was the founding member of American Express’ Equity Analyst Training program where he learned bottom-up, fundamental equity analysis covering the Branded Consumer, Steel, Toy, and Software industries.
After a successful stint in Investment Banking with JP Morgan/Chase/H&Q, Hank led the corporate and business development efforts for Cooking.com, Adconion Media Group, and Yahoo. At Yahoo, Hank led the strategic business partnership between Yahoo and Microsoft which generated the bulk of Yahoo’s annual revenue ($800M). He gained extensive digital operations experience as a member of senior management at Tribune Digital where he was responsible for the company’s corporate/business development, video production, video distribution, digital content creation, ecommerce, social media operations for 8 newspapers and 12 television stations.
Hank lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. His current obsession is trying every new AI tool as soon as it hits the street. Before OpenAI changed our lives, Hank’s interests were focused on cycling, bowling, investing, and any new Apple product.
